Born November 18, 1933 Tilmon, Texas
Lilly May Daniels of Luling, TX, passed away on February 15, 2012, at the age of 78. She was born on November 18, 1933, in Tilmon, TX, to Fredrick Fineal and Edna Lorene (Etheredge) Williams.
Her parents; bother, Jimmy Williams, and two grandsons, Jessie Daniels Jr. and Shane Eckols preceded her in death. She is survived by one son, Jessie Daniels and wife, Ruby of Seguin, TX; three daughters, Nancy Eckols of Luling, TX, Mary Stahl and husband, John of Luling, TX and Betty Ward and husband, James Adam of Austin, TX; one brother, Jerry Williams and wife, Delores of Luling; also a very close friend, Donnie Eckols; eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends at McCurdy Funeral Home, at 5:00 P.M. to 7: 00 P.M., Friday, February 17, 2012. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 18, 2012, at McCurdy Funeral Home in Lockhart, with Pastor James Iley officiating. Interment to follow at Hall Cemetery in McNeil. Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Daniels, Daniel Trench, Edward Ward, Jessie (Bubba) Daniels, Raymond Daniels, Jonathon Stahl, Chris Stahl and Corey Gonzales.

Peggy Horner Wisian Class of 54
Born September 25, 1935 Lockhart, Texas
Peggy Wren Wisian passed away on Jan. 29, 2010. She was born in Lockhart, Texas, on Sept. 25, 1935.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Weldon Wisian, and her son, Bob Wisian.
She is survived by her, daughter, Debbie Wisian; brother, Jim Homer; grandchildren, Jason Kellems and Stephanie Wisian; nieces, nephews and numerous friends, including those from Johnny High.
She was a gifted arts and crafts person who was constantly creating memorable gifts for her loved ones.
She was buried at Live Oak Cemetery on Saturday, Feb. 6,2010 at 1:30 p.m. There were no graveside services, as per her request.

Wesley Martindale Class of 54
Born April 22, 1936 San Antonio
Harold Wesley Martindale, 71, of Maxwell passed away peacefully at his home on Jan. 11, 2008. He was born in San Antonio on April 22, 1936 to Harold D. and Mildred Morgan Martindale.
Mr. Martindale was a lifelong resident of Caldwell County and had worked in the dairy industry before retiring. He was a member of the Martindale Baptist Church. He is survived by his brother, Norman Martindale of Carrizo Springs, Texas.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 16 at the Martindale Cemetery with Reverend Glen Howe officiating. Interment followed immediately. All arrangements were with Eeds Funeral Home, 408 South Main, and Lockhart, Texas. (512) 398-2343.
OSCAR RIDDLE Class of 54
Born October 4, 1935 Rio Grande City
Oscar Riddle, 72, of Lockhart, Texas passed away Oct. 15, 2007 at his residence. He was born October 4, 1935 in Rio Grande City, Texas to Oscar D. and Wanda (Schulle) Riddle Sr.
He served in the U. S. Navy during the Korean War.
Mr. Riddle was preceded in death by his father and stepfather.
He is survived by his son, Oscar Riddle III and wife, Becky and their children Justin and Kelsey of Garden Ridge; daughter, Michelle Riddle Edwards and husband, Craig and their children Sabrina Llamas, Camryn Butts and Mackineze Edwards of Gonzales; mother, Wanda Holter of Lockhart; and sister, Linda Guckian and husband, Jim of Canyon Lake.
Family will receive friends from 6 - 9 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 19, 2007 at McCurdy Funeral Home.

BETTE MOORE Class of 54
Died January 25, 2007 Texas
Bette Jean (Moore) Moehring, 70, beloved wife, mother and grandmother ("Mama Red") from Granger, quietly went home to heaven on January 25, 2007.
Bette is survived by her husband of 51 years, Red (Alvin) Moehring; daughters Sheryl Steger and Linda Race; grandchildren Breanne Steger, Brandon and Lexy Race; brothers Ross Moore and his wife Susan, Kirby Moore and his wife Dorothy, Lynn Moore and his wife Sharon; sister Sharron Voudouris and her husband Johnny; aunt Cora Clark; uncle Ellis Clark and his wife Hazel; sisters in law Jonnie Moehring and Nancy Moehring, and numerous other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents G.C. and Minnette Moore. Also her son Keith Moehring, his wife Cindy, grandchildren Erik and Ryan Moehring who perished in the Jarrell tornado of 1997.
She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. We were truly blessed to have had her in this world for as long as we did.
Visitation will be held February 2nd from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and a memorial service Saturday Feb 3rd at 1:00 p.m. at the Gabriel's Funeral Chapel in Georgetown.

DANIEL LOEP Class of 54
Died April 8, 2006 Houston
DANIEL LOEP, 69, of Houston, Texas, passed away on April 8, 2006.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roland and Olga Loep. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Elizabeth (Liz); son, Wade Loep and wife Mary; daughter, Jenny Williams and husband Clay; grandchildren, Brenton, Nick, Hannah, Libby and Sam. Dan is also survived by his sisters, Nancy Donnell, Jane Johnson and husband Archie, Janet Voight, Kathy Selstrom and husband David; brothers, Laurie Loep, Nathan Loep and wife Billie Anne; sisters-in-laws, Judy Cardwell; Jenny Meyer and husband Joy.
Dan was born and raised on a cotton farm in Central Texas. After Graduating from Lockhart High School in 1954, he attended the University of Texas before moving to Houston in 1960. After retiring from the chemical manufacturing business, Dan opened a nursery following his life-long passion for gardening. All who knew Dan will remember his playfulness, great sense of humor and wonderful home-grown tomatoes. Dan became a leader in the Green Industry in Houston and was known as the "Tomato Man" of Houston. He was active in the Texas Association of Nurserymen and was President of the Houston Landscape Nurserymen's Association.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation with the family on Monday, April 10, 2006 from 6 to 8:00 PM in Woodlawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, April 11, 2006 in the Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home. HOWARD GRANTHAM Class of 54
September 22, 1935 McGregor, Texas
Howard Grantham, age 69, passed away Saturday, February 19, 2005 in Houston, Texas. He was born on September 22, 1935 in McGregor, Texas to Alvin Howard and Christine (Martin) Grantham. Howard�s fami1y moved to Lockhart, Texas when be was an infant. He graduated from Lockhart High School in 1954. Howard graduated from Texas A&M University in 1958 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering where he had a distinguished career. He was the Consolidated Fightin� Aggie Band Commander, member of the Ross Volunteers Drill Team, a Distinguished Student and a member of Who's Who. The same week that he graduated from Texas A&M, he married his high school sweetheart, Gayle. That same year Howard signed an Engineering contract with Amoco Chemical Corporation which began a 35 year career. He held every position imaginable with Amoco in Texas City. He was promoted to the corporate level in Chicago in 1973 when he became a Manufacturing Specialist and a member of the Special Results Management Group dealing with worldwide issues. He retired in 1992 as Technical Director at the Texas City and Chocolate Bayou Plants.
Howard is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Gayle Grantham, daughter Amanda Grantham and special friend, Tiffany Farris, and Cheryl Lavigne; son Gary Howard Grantham, grandson, Andre Lavigne; brother, Martin Grantham and wife JoAnn; and beloved pet, Nicholas.
Howard will be remembered as a multi-talented man. His family will treasure his designs in wood and leather, and his inventions. He an avid genealogist, and owned several small businesses until his death.
Pallbearers will be: C. T. Kirksey, Col. Willet Stallworth, Murray Denton, Tommy Zipp, Ed Thorpe, Martin Grantham.
PEGGY (POWELL) GOLDMAN Class of 54
Born March 24, 1937
Born March 24, 1937 and passed away December 30, 2004. She grew up in both Dallas and Lockhart.
After taking time off to raise her family, she returned to SMU and received her BA in 1976. Survived by husband David Goldman, Jr.; sons Douglas and Raymond Goldman; daughters Catherine Kleinmann and Amy Northrop; eight grandchildren; sisters Kitty Auer and Valli Marti.
Rosary will be recited at 10:00am on Monday, January 3, 2005, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church (Kenwood & Abrams), interment following at Calvary Hill Cemetery. Born February 2, 1936 Lytton Springs, Texas
Dawson G. Perry, 61, of Lockhart died Monday, Oct. 13, 1997. He was born in Lytton Springs on Feb. 2, 1936, the son of Dawson Griffith and Martha Strawn Perry.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Lockhart. He was past president of LISD School Board; past president of the Jaycees and Chamber of Commerce. He was a veteran in the US Army. He married Bobby Terry on March 24, 1956 in Lockhart.
Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Perry of Lockhart; sons, Griff Perry of Lockhart and Gregg Perry of Austin; brother, Bobby D. Perry and wife Margie of Rosenburg; sisters, Lamerle Schulke and husband Leonard of Lockhart, and Ermine May of Lockhart.
Family visitation was at 6 p.m. Tuesday at McCurdy Funeral Home. Funeral services were Wednesday, Oct. 15 at First United Methodist Church in Lockhart with the Rev. Don Duvall officiating. Burial followed at Lockhart City Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Doak Schulke, Ronnie Schulke, Bill Smith, Bobby Perry Jr., Edward Davis, Arthur Eckford, James Koch and Gary Brown.
Honorary pallbearers were Tom N. McDuffie, Bill Clark, Billy G. Rector and Don Hewlett.

JANICE (HUTCHESON) EHRLICH Class of 54
Born February 8, 1936
Janice Ehrlich, 53, of Lockhart died Sunday, Jan. 14, 1990. She was born in McMahan, Feb. 8, 1936, the daughter of Amos and Lilly Jewel Stephens Hutcheson.
Survivors include her husband, Eugene Ehrlich of Lockhart; daughter, Evelene Johnson of Lockhart; mother, Lilly Jo Hickman of Lockhart; brothers James Hutcheson and Billy Hutcheson both of Lockhart; sisters Lois Seitz of Lockhart and Mary Ann Zimmerhanzel of Kovar; and grandson, John Eugene Johnson.
Funeral services were held at McCurdy Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, I Jan. 16, with the Rev. Charles Moore officiating. Burial followed at Lockhart City Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Gary Skelton, Calvin Watts, Richard Ehrlich, Dennis Zimmerhanzel, Pete Schulze and Ernest E. Ewald, Jr.
