08 February 2010: Peggy Wren Horner Wisian, class of '54, died on Jan. 29, 2010 in the Arlington vicinity. She was laid to rest in the Live Oak cemetery in Uhland after a private family service on Feb. 6. Peggy had recently under gone triple bypass surgery.

1955 LHS FOOTBALL TEAM REUNION
There will be a reception honoring the football team of 1955 before the Del Valle game in the foyer of the new gym from 6:30-7:15 pm on Friday, November 4, 2005. The team will be escorted onto the field and introduced after the Lockhart band performance."

We will also have a pre-game reunion of all of our classmates regardless of whether you played football at Kreuz's on Highway 183, across from the cemetery at 5:00 pm before the game. We can eat there, but bring your own medication. We will leave for the football stadium about 6:15. Since we were very close to the graduating classes of 1955 and 1957, please inform any of those persons about the reunion. I hope all of you can attend.

April 19, 2005: Kenny Taylor (Class of 55) who attended high school in Lockhart died of a massive heart attack and passed away yesterday. He lived in Colorado. His younger sister, Barbara Taylor (Class of 58), who some of the older girls called "Apple" had passed away since January of this year along with her husband. Many from school will remember this family and these former classmates.

Billy Don is recovering from a stroke. He spent weeks in intensive care and has been out of work for months. Billy Don graduated from Lockhart High School in 1969 or thereabouts.

Dorothy Schulle presents her husband, Frank with the award as Lockhart's Most Worthy Citizen.
It was "An Evening in Paris" Saturday night at the Lockhart Junior High School as nearly 400 people turned out for the 69th Annual Chamber of Commerce Banquet.
Frank Schulle was named Lockhart's Most Worthy Citizen during the banquet and was presented with the award by his wife, Dorothy, who won the honor last year.
Jesse Lujan of Performance Collision Specialist, Inc. accepted the award ad business of the year from Brad Westmoreland.
Last year's Agribusinessman of the Year winner, Buddy Hawkins, presented Morris White with the title for 2003.
Spirit Awards were presented by Maters of ceremonies Kenneth Sneed and Stephanie Riggin to Mathew Sturn, Ray Sanders, Janet and J.J. Grigar, Jim Sells, Jeannie Fox, Javamotion-Vince, Leslie and Dorothy Harper and Aviator Theatres-James Sterling.
Gene and Doris New and Pasco's family are very appreciative of the Top Ten Scholarship donations that have been made in memory of Pasco Martin. They feel that Pasco would be very proud of this tribute.

Doris and I know so very well how much Pasco would have been pleased for the love, concern and respect that was showed to him and us during his illness and passing. Words do not seem to be enough to express our appreciation, love and respect for all of you.
Although God is our strength you were our crutch during this time of grief which allowed us to continue with our heads raised. We love you.
Time nor distance have not separated or diminished the bond, friendship and respect for LHS Classmates and I think it can be attributed to our teachers, coaches and parents. God Bless them.
Doris and I are now ok and we want to ask you to pray with us for our other classmates and love ones that are ill or have special needs.
